I found this fun little tool today, rentometer.com/ca, it tells you whether your rent or the rent of an apartment you’re considering is above or below average for the area. I like that it works for my neighbourhood in Vancouver, and it’s going to be very useful when I start looking for a new apartment in about 6 months or so.

Does anyone know of any good student loan calculator tools online? So far I’ve only been able to find student loan calculators like this which is a step in the right direction but it would be great to find one that makes a nice little chart for you showing how much interest you would save by increasing your payments. I know I’ve seen mortgage calculators like that, so it would be great to see a student loan one.
